I wasn't able to catch the Newark Wildcats state championship game, but I was happy to hear the team won the game, and in pretty easy fashion.
Speaking of winning games easily, Kent State beat Akron in the MAC Championship 74-55. The Golden Flashes were already, likely, in the big tournament, but now they should secure a decent seed, as we'll find out during the selection show on Sunday. The team should, at least, be a 9 seed, and could be up to a 7 seed. Let's make another Elite 8 run Kent State!
